ART lovers from across Oxfordshire descended on North Hinksey for the third Summer Oxford Art Fair. “The Fishes” who once again played host to the fair, transformed their one acre garden into the city’s largest outdoor contemporary art gallery last July. Featuring 50 artists working in mediums as wide-ranging as paintings, photography and sculpture.
Kerry Clarke, 35, from Bicester, said: “This is my third time visiting as I always enjoy it very much. I was once again very impressed with the high standard of artworks on show.”
Elaine Allender, from Oxford, displayed some of her abstract floral paintings. The self-taught artist said: “Really well-organised, great venue, very friendly atmosphere and I sold 4 originals!” She continues: “I would like to compliment the organiser ‘Joelle Dinnage’ on the great success.”
The two-day art fair included live music from the Oxfordshire Jazz Society and live performances by Ashnan Dance.
