“I thoroughly enjoyed the Oxford Art Fair, I sold work and met lots of lovely artists that I will keep in touch with, it was so friendly and fun it felt more like a festival! It was extremely well promoted, Congratulations to the organisers for all their hard work and for looking after us so well” - Julia Everett, Artist.
“I had a great time visiting The Oxford Art Fair, amazing art, atmosphere & weather too. I am so happy with my art purchase ‘Birthday Gorilla’, he’s so cool I need to find somewhere to put him. Thank you I will be visiting next event without a doubt. – Kerry Clarke, visitor
It was an absolute pleasure to be included in the first Oxford Art Fair. My textile felted works of art went down really well, something different for people to look at and I am thankful for the inclusion in the fair, as textile art is not widely appreciated! The organisation of the whole event was superb, from the marquees to the wall panels, to advertising and reasonable costs. Joelle was a superb hosts and I would work with her anytime in the future and will be spreading the word to other artist friends. A fabulous weekend, some fantastic connections made, including a lady who came to see me purely based on the fact we share the same maiden name! She is going to become one of my best customers! Thank you Joelle for a fabulous show! Would be happy to attend anything with you in the future! – Hannah Jago, Artist.
“It was a delight visiting The Oxford Art Fair, so much great art on show, so many talented artists in a very enjoyable setting. I like to congratulate the organiser as the event was a breath of fresh air and am looking forward to the next event! – visitor from Milton Keynes.
Dear Joelle, Thank you for all your work. I really enjoyed the experience and I felt that the mixture of different Art was a testomany to a wide variety of views of the world and our interpretation of it. I liked the fact that it was a very relaxed experience which was probably down to how well it was organised. Also we were lucky with the weather! – Jackie Conway, Artist
I find the art fair well organised and yet flexible, which creates a relaxing atmosphere. The weather did help, but that’s just an Oxford point compared with organising it in the North West. Further lots of like minded artists of which I could learn from and interesting interactions with visitors! I enjoyed myself a lot! All things considered a great event where I met lots of great people and will definitely be interested in a second edition! - Victor van Velzen (alias Dr freakinstyle) Artist.
“It was very enjoyable seeing all the different art techniques and quite interesting, there was one artist who was applying the oils onto the canvas using his fingers, which surprised me, but was very intriguing at the same time” – Sam Aspey, visitor.
I was most impressed by the Event Organisation, having run Events like these myself for nearly 5 years in the past I know what goes into the background’ and what hard work is done generally unseen by the Exhibitors and the Public The Oxford art Fair is a new venture developed and put together by Joelle Dinnage, she is personable and more than that very capable with a passion, I recognise the signs. A very eventful weekend, buzzy, cool, useful, some sales for most, the weather held off ..and I just love Oxford Town centre, it’s so Cosmopolitan, a people watchers dream place!…Yes I do it again at the drop of a hat! Tony Broadbent – Artist.
“Joelle has a passion for art and artists from all genres of the art world. Her enthusiasm, attention to detail, willingness to accommodate the requirements of each individual artist is exemplary and throughout the two-day exhibition, she frequently visited each artist, discussing their work and offering support. It is very easy for exhibition organisers to simply hold the exhibition, take the money and forget about the exhibitors. this was certainly not the case with Joelle. – Angela Grace, Artist
“My husband Paul and I met Joelle at the recent open art exhibition for different artists that she had organised earlier this month in Oxford. Once again we would like to thank Joelle for such a great idea and taking all the trouble to bring art to the people, we so much enjoyed visiting the different artists work which were on display. With warm regards and looking forward to the next exhibition and future events Joelle will be organising. Syma and Paul Sanford
“We just bought a new house in the Cotswold and so this has been a great opportunity to buy art from emerging UK artists. A great variety of art, but once I came across this beautiful piece by Pia Vang, I was sold and had to purchase it. Luckily my husband agreed!!! – visitor from Cotswold
“We were pleasantly surprised by this great event. Not only have we commissioned a piece of art by one of the artists, but also asked the organiser of The Oxford Art Fair to organise a similar event at our country pub in Oxfordshire. We truly enjoyed every minute of it. – visitors from Oxfordshire
It’s been a great opportunity for students to showcase their work, and am happy to have been part of it – Vanessa Walters, Student Artist.
Just like to say a huge thank you to Joelle Dinnage for all her hard work in making The Oxford Art Fair such an amazing event. – Tracey Evans (The Secret Art Loft), Artist
